Palace Business Centres' began in 1995 when Donna Haskins and Thomas Kennedy saw the need for an office business center in downtown Erie. The competitive environment had led larger companies to downsize, consolidate and outsource operations, and the number of people working in small businesses was increasing at a fast pace. A niche emerged for flexible-term, full-service office space, and they opened Atrium and Crown Suites which have served hundreds of businesses.

Established in 1997 as RMS to provide property management services for PDA developments, the firm later affiliated with Prudential Real Estate for further growth in brokerage and 3rd party management. Offices in Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio, and recent merger with Altair Holdings is allowing for greater operational development and regional growth.

Formed in 2005 as a subsidiary of Community National Bank, ERIEBANK was created to fill a niche in small business community banking. Thomas Kennedy serves as a founding director and shareholder of the bank, and is actively involved in lending and growth decisions.
